Although is currently no TV station that brings the NBA to the TV-screens, there are NBA live streams available. Fans can choose between a subscription with Sky and Amazon Prime that both cover a whole host of different sports events and the League Pass for purely NBA basketball.

NBA live with Sky

The Pay TV and streaming service Sky holds extensive broadcasting rights to the NBA. sky shows many top games of the regular season live, as well as many games from the NBA playoffs and the complete NBA finals. The mid-season highlight is the NBA All Star Weekend with all events - including the Slam Dunk Contest, Skills Challenge, Rising Stars and the All Star Game on Sunday.

What is Sky?

Sky is a pay TV and stream service. The package Sky Sport presents a lot of soccer live, such as the Bundesliga or the Premier League. In addition to soccer, another focus lies on Formula 1 and US sports from the NBA. Access to Sky is only available with a suitable subscription. Users can need to add the sports package to their contract.

The NBA will be streamed live mostly at night, often starting between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. German time. Some games at the weekends though also begin at prime time on Sat or Sun evening. If you do not want to get up at night for the NBA live game, you can watch the full game later.
